My Name is Diego

Hi! I'm a 9-year-old boy living in Cotzal, a northern region of Guatemala. I have a big family with 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Our health is good and my favorite thing at school is language! After school, I help clean at home. I like playing with my toy cars when I have free time. Many people work on small farms or seasonal coffee farms here. It's tough, there was a civil war before I was born and it still affects us.

Lucky for us, child sponsorship came along! Thanks to FH, almost every kid in my community goes to school, including me! Can you believe half of us couldn't before? FH also helps my family learn new farming techniques and my mom learns about healthcare. All this means a better future for me!
