Musu K. Taylor-Lewis
President & CEO, Food for the Hungry CanadaMusu Taylor-Lewis joined FH in 2023 after over 20 years in the non-profit and public sectors with experience that includes program operations, social research, communications, international cooperation, public relations, fundraising and organizational development.
Musu was born in Edmonton, AB, to Sierra Leonean parents and by her early 20s she had lived in seven cities on three continents. This exposure to global inequality formed the basis of her interest and passion for international development. Musu pursued that passion through study in economics, community economic development and theology. She seeks to live out her conviction for the possibility of a more equitable world by working with the global church and motivating Canadians to be involved in making lasting change. Musu sits on the board of Cooperation Canada and is a member of the editorial advisory board of the Philanthropy Journal.
