Why we respond
So much poverty begins with natural disasters or violent conflict. FH Canada responds to alleviate human suffering in under-resourced places, faithfully answering God’s call to help those in desperate need.
Our hearts break for the millions of families affected by sudden or debilitating tragedy. We cannot sit idly by and watch their suffering spiral into a multi-generational cycle of poverty.
How we respond
Immediate relief
Intervene with clean water, food, shelter, and essential household items for families in crisis.
Safety and care
Create safe spaces for women and girls, including group therapy and referral services.
Back on their feet
Provide building materials, seeds, and training for survivors to rebuild what was lost.
2025 Children in Crisis Report
With the support of hundreds of faithful donors, FH Canada responded to emergency situations where children were at risk in Uganda, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Bangladesh and more.
