Donor Advised Funds

Create a Lasting Impact through
Your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you can support the work of FH Canada by recommending a grant from your fund. Giving through a DAF is a flexible and effective way to make a meaningful contribution to our work.

A gift from your DAF allows you to:

  • Immediately use set-aside charitable funds.
  • Make a one-time or recurring contribution.
  • Include FH Canada as part of your long-term or legacy giving plans.

How to Give from Your DAF

Recommending a grant from your Donor Advised Fund is straightforward. Specific steps may vary slightly depending on your DAF provider, but the general procedure is as follows:

Access your Donor Advised Fund through your sponsoring organization’s online portal or by contacting your advisor.

We accept grants from CNCF, GiveWise, CanadaHelps, Charitable Impact (CHIMP), Abundance Canada, Wellfunded, and other public and community foundations.

- Legal name: FH Canada
- CRA Registration Number: 132152893RR0001

- The amount you wish to grant
- Your gift will support the area of greatest need
- Your name and contact information so we can thank you

Once approved by your DAF sponsor, the funds will be sent directly to FH Canada.

After Your Gift Is Received

When your DAF grant reaches FH Canada:

We will acknowledge your generosity with a thank-you letter or donation confirmation.

You’ll be kept informed about the impact of your support and the work your gift makes possible.

If you wish, an FH team member can reach out to learn how you prefer to stay updated on the work you support.
