Hi there! I'm a 13-year-old girl living in the northern region of Cotzal, in Guatemala, and I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. My favourite thing to study at school is language and I love playing soccer! When I'm not in school, I help my family - I'm pretty good at sweeping. Where I live, most families have small farms, growing maize and vegetables to sell. My dad, like others, often goes away to work on coffee farms to help us.
But you know what? Things are getting better! A wonderful program called FH came to my community and started changing stuff. Now almost all the kids, including me, can go to school and learn all kinds of exciting things. They also work with our parents to teach them how to grow more crops and take care of our health. I'm really happy I get to go to school and have a chance at a bright future! Please, keep me, my family, and our entire community in your prayers as we continue to better things around here. Thanks for giving us hope!
