My Name is Miguel

Hi there! I'm an 8-year-old boy living in Cotzal, a northern part of Guatemala. I'm lucky to have a sister. My health is pretty good too. I love school and my favorite subject is sports. After school, I like helping my family by doing some cleaning. Soccer is my absolute favorite thing to play!

My town is small, and many families, like mine, have little farms where we grow maize and other veggies to sell. Our dads often work for a long time at coffee farms to take care of us. Things here have been tough since an ugly war happened before I was born, but they're starting to get better.

Being a part of FH (Food for the Hungry) has been a real game-changer. They're teaching my parents how to stay healthy and farm better, and more kids than ever are going to school now.
