Mike Janz

Canada - Sr. Director of Philanthropy & Public Engagement

In his role at Food for the Hungry Canada, Mike leads a team of passionate individuals in engaging the passion, purpose, and giving priorities of Canadians so that we can join together to help families and communities move from stuck to thriving. Mike joined the FH team in 2019, and has continued to grow more deeply invested in the mission of FH. He loves walking with FH partners as they discover how they can be involved with seeing vulnerable communities find the paths to flourishing.

Mike hails from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where he lives with his wife and two children. He enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family, surfing the east coast waves, plucking and strumming his banjo and guitar, and pouring a great cup of coffee.
