Soomie Koh

Soomie Koh serves as Chief Strategic Officer for Korea Food for the Hungry International. Over her nearly 20 years with KFHI she has had various experiences serving in international development and relief operations, overseeing long-term and short-term organizational strategies, and developing corporate & private resources. Soomie also worked for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Tanzania as an administrative officer for 11 years and enjoyed diverse cross-cultural experiences. She holds a Master's degree in Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

She is also an ordained deacon of a community church, and enjoys singing in the choir. She lives with her husband Jooyoung in Seoul, Korea.
