My Name is Eyasu

Hi there! I’m a 9-year-old boy living in Leka Dulecha, Ethiopia. I have three sisters and three brothers, and we all help each other out. My favorite subject in school is science because I love learning about how things work! After school, I help my family in our garden. We grow vegetables that we eat, and I think it’s really cool to see how they grow from tiny seeds.

I also love playing soccer with my friends! Even though life can be tough here, I stay positive. Sometimes it’s hard to find clean water or go to good schools, but I know that with help, things can get better. I’m thankful for the support that helps our community grow stronger, so we can all have a brighter future together. I hope to make my family proud and help my friends, too!
