Hi there! I'm an eight-year-old boy living in the beautiful region of Leka Dulecha, Ethiopia, 350 kilometres away from Addis Ababa. I have 2 sisters, and 4 brothers, and we all stick together. I love school, especially language class. It's cool to learn new words! After school, I help my family by fetching water. It's hard sometimes, 'cause the water isn't always clean. I dream of a day when we have clean water all the time.
Life here isn't all hard though. We make do with what we have and find joy in the little things, like a good soccer game! It's my favourite game ever!
I know things are tough here, our schools need help and it's not easy to stay healthy sometimes. But folks like you are helping us. With your support, we're learning to grow veggies, raise animals, and start businesses. So, one day, I hope Leka Dulecha becomes a place every child is happy and healthy. Thanks for giving us a chance!
