My Name is Martha

Hi, I'm a 7-year-old girl living in Leka Dulecha, a beautiful rural area in Ethiopia. I love learning languages at school. Our schools aren't the best, but I make the most of it! After school, I help my family by cleaning our home. We don't have lots of stuff, but we take good care of what we have. I have a sister and a brother, and we enjoy playing and running around together.

Things can be tough here; it's hard to get clean water and there's not much healthcare. But, thanks to special friends like you sponsoring kids like me, it's getting better! They're helping our families learn how to grow our own veggies, raise animals and even start small businesses. This way we can look after each other better.
