Hi! I'm a 9-year-old girl living in Leka Dulecha, a beautiful rural part of Ethiopia. I have a happy family, but no brothers or sisters. I really like going to school and my favourite part is learning about history! After school, I lend a hand at home by carrying water, which is fun for me because I love running. My health is good, which I'm thankful for.
Living here has its share of challenges like getting clean water and good healthcare. Our school needs fixing up and it's hard for caregivers to make enough money, but we're a resilient and hopeful bunch. Thanks to kind people sponsoring children like me, life in Leka Dulecha is getting better. The volunteers are teaching us to grow vegetables, raise livestock, and run businesses, all of which are cool to learn. Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to make our home an even better place to grow up. Thank you for bringing hope and joy to my life!
