Hello, I am a young boy. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers. My health is good. In school, my favourite subject is language. When I get home from school, I help my family by carrying water. I enjoy soccer.

I am from the district of Sasiga, Ethiopia, which is home to almost 76,000 people. It is about 350 kms due west of our nation’s capitol of Addis Ababa. I live in a kebele (“village”) a short distance from the central Sasiga townsite. My kebele is in a mid highlands area surrounded by mountains and fertile grasslands. It is a beautiful area, but lacks things like clean water, good schools, stocked health clinics, and strong businesses that would make life better for us all. Thankfully, child sponsorship is empowering my family to take care of me, reach my God-given potential, and give me a chance at a brighter future. I am able to go to school and I get regular health check-ups. FH field workers also spend time with my caregivers and teach them to grow vegetables, raise livestock and run their businesses better. They are also helping to bring clean water and better hygiene practices to my village. They help my family work together so that we can overcome our challenges. They also assist other families and leaders in the community. Please pray for me and my family as we work with our community for a better future. Thank you for providing me with support and hope.
