My Name is Keilin

Hi! I’m six years old and I live in Cotzal, a place in the northern part of Guatemala. I have one sister, and we help our family take care of animals after school. My favorite subject is drawing because I love using lots of colors! In my community, many families have small farms with maize and vegetables that we sell at the market. I like playing traditional games with my friends, and even though things were tough before, I feel happy because I can go to school now.

Child sponsorship helps me and my family so much. Before, many kids couldn’t attend school because they weren’t healthy or their parents couldn’t send them. But now, we get help with health care and learning, which is really cool! I’m excited about my future and want to learn all I can.
