My Name is Lillian

Hi! I’m a 9-year-old girl living in Bushiangi, a cool mountain community in eastern Uganda. I have three sisters and five brothers, so our home is always busy! My favorite subject in school is English, and I love helping my family by carrying water when I get back from class. After school, I also enjoy playing ball games with my friends.

Life can be tough because of the past, but thanks to the support from FH, things are getting better. We have clean water now, and I can go to school and visit the health clinic when I’m sick. The FH staff helps my family grow more vegetables and raise animals, so we have better food. I feel hopeful about our future, and I’m grateful for your support. Please pray for me and my village as we work to overcome poverty!
