My Name is Shakira

Hi! I’m seven years old, and I live in Bumutsopa, a beautiful place in eastern Uganda. I have one sister and one brother, and we like to play ball games together. My favorite subject in school is English. When I get home, I help my family by washing the dishes.

Life can be tough here because of the past, but I’m grateful for the help from FH. They teach my family how to grow food and take care of our animals. Now we have more to eat, and I can go to school and visit the health clinic when I feel sick. I’m excited to learn and dream big! Please pray for my family and our village as we work together to make things better. Thank you for your support and hope!
