My Name is Sathya

Hi! I’m five years old and I live in a small village in the Chong Kal region of Cambodia. I don’t have any brothers or sisters, but I have lots of friends! My favorite time is when I’m at school, learning about national languages. When I get home, I help my family by mopping the floor. I love playing house with my friends, pretending to cook and take care of my dolls.

Our village is really green, and many of my neighbors grow rice on their farms. Sometimes my friends can’t come to school because they help their parents work. We all want to learn and be healthy, and I’m so happy that people are helping us with that! With support, our community is working together to make things better for everyone.
