Hello, I am a young boy. I have 1 sister and no brothers. My health is good. In school, my favourite subject is foreign languages. When I get home from school, I help my family by animal care. I enjoy soccer.

I live in a mountainous community in Kabarore, Burundi. Our community is facing many obstacles. For example, I have limited access to education as we have very few, very crowded classrooms with limited school supplies. Our food supply is inconsistent because the land is still recovering from years of war and our nearest hospital is 34km away so many parents prefer consulting traditional healers over seeking professional medical support. Thankfully, we have you and Food for the Hungry working with our community. Child sponsorship is empowering my family to take care of me and helping me reach my God-given potential. I get to go to school and have regular health check-ups while my caregivers learn new ways to generate income by growing vegetables and raising livestock. Food for the Hungry is helping my family and other families work together so we can overcome our challenges. Please pray for me and my family as we work together for a sustainable future.
