My Name is Sanjida

Hi there! I'm a six-year-old girl living in Ratna Palong, in the Ukhia region of Bangladesh. I'm lucky to have two sisters, a brother, and good health. I love going to school, especially when we get to learn new rhymes - they're so fun! After school, I help my family by carrying water.

My favourite toy is my doll. Even though we don't have a lot here in Ukhia, I enjoy playing with my siblings and helping my family. My community is working with FH - they are nice people who help us learn new things, like how to read and farm better. They also help us get clean water and build nice bathrooms. I'm really grateful to them. Life is simple here, but we're trying to make it better, bit by bit! Thanks for caring about us!
