My Name is Debi

Hi there! I'm a 5-year-old girl living in Holdia Palong, Ukhia, in Bangladesh. I have two sisters, one brother, and we all help each other out. We are a happy and healthy bunch. I go to school and my favorite thing to learn is rhymes--I think they're fun. After school, I help my family by cleaning our small house, I like keeping things neat.

At home, my favorite toy is my doll. Around here, lots of families like mine work as farmers, but things are getting better. This group called FH is helping us make things nicer. They're teaching us how to get clean water and better ways to get our crops to grow. They're also helping us learn more at school. Things are not easy, but I'm hopeful about our future.
