My Name is Mohammad

Hi there! I'm a 12-year-old boy living in Holdia Palong, a part of Ukhia in southeast Bangladesh. Our home might be small and our area might be one of the country's poorest, but I love our little community. I have an awesome sister and brother, and we often help clean the house when we get back from our local school. Oh! and guess what? I absolutely love math!

We're just normal folks here who mostly work as farmers or day labourers. Though we may not have much, we're pretty good at using what we do have, and we're excited about improving our living conditions. With help from FH and our community leaders, we're learning how to get clean water, build latrines, and increase our literacy! We're also learning new farming methods and business skills to improve our lives. It might be tough at times, but I have a good feeling about the future. Thanks for listening to my story!
