Hello, I am a young girl. I have 2 sisters and no brothers. My health is good. In school, my favourite subject is rhymes. When I get home from school, I help my family by dusting. I enjoy dolls.

Greetings from Ukhia! Ukhia is a group of communities in the southeast of Bangladesh, not far from the Bay of Bengal. I live in a community called Holdia Palong. Our area is one of the poorest in the country. Most families live in small houses and work as farmers or day labourers. FH is working with our community leaders to help many families improve their quality of living and to get more kids, like me, leading healthy lives and regularly learning in school. To help our area grow physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially, FH is encouraging us to use what we do have and supporting us as we tackle what we don't. This means addressing problems by securing access to clean water, building latrines, teaching literacy, improving farming methods and business skills, and more! Thank you for being part of this!
