So what makes it revolutionary?

FH Canada is distinctive among relief and development organizations in our approach to overcoming the global poverty crisis. Instead of simply providing handouts, we focus on delivering hope for the whole person through building sustainable communities in impoverished countries around the world. Through five-to-nine year partnerships, these communities become self-sustaining and able to take care of themselves. In turn, these communities help neighbouring communities to do the same, bringing hope and sustainability to a country.

So how does Poverty Revolution work?

When FH Canada begins working in a new community, instead of focusing on limitations and problems, we identify the community's assets and initiatives, apply local knowledge and resources and promote community-driven development programs.
