With your help, we can help ensure that minor injuries don’t become fatal by giving a family the insurance coverage they need to access urgent medical care.
Ever tried to learn to write the alphabet without any paper or pencils? Probably not, but it happens all the time in developing countries. For children fortunate enough to receive an education, basic school supplies are still considered a luxury. But with your help, we can present children from the poorest families (most of whom are half or full orphans), with the school supplies they need to make learning easier. Materials include exercise books, pens, pencils, a sharpener and an eraser.
In most countries where FH Canada works, the cost of school fees often exceeds what many families can afford. As a result, education is often sacrificed so that daily needs can be met. With your help, we can make sure that doesn’t happen.

With your help, we can monitor children’s growth in the communities we serve, and identify cases of malnutrition sooner.
