Kristee was posted to work with FH Uganda in 2007 and quickly showed considerable strength and skill in the area of teaching and training. At the same time, FH’s East Africa region was looking for someone to spearhead training in DR Congo (DRC). In April 2008, Kristee agreed to be reposted to DRC. As living expenses are much higher in DR Congo, giving opportunities still exist to keep Kristee on the field until July 2010.

FH Canada's International Medical Equipment Distribution (IMED) program delivers hope, health and life-saving medical equipment to communities who are often unable to meet even the most basic medical needs. This project supports this community’s growth of medical sustainability and, ultimately, its member’s physical wellness.
Children are innocent victims of poverty and often the first to suffer from lack of food, clean water and healthy sanitation. At Food for the Hungry we believe we have a special calling to care for them. FH’s Child Development Program is designed to benefit the entire community: it works together with parents and community leaders to ensure that all children receive hope for their future.
